"The Aster Alma Potschke, `Aster novae-angliae,' makes an excellent container plant or front of the garden feature, and looks great with ornamental grasses. Its beautiful bright neon pink daisy-like flowers are roughly the size of a quarter, and bloom from early fall until frost. These plants will reach a height of eighteen inches with a spread of about three feet. This plant does require full sunlight, but can take some afternoon shade in a moderate soil range with good drainage. The soil cannot be allowed to dry out during the summer."
