"The Larkspur American Flag, `Consolida ambigua,' produces large towers of vivid flowers in colors of red, white and blue. It will add a strong patriotic flair to any garden. It will even bloom around Flag Day in most areas. The flowers are up to one half inch wide and are packed in dense clusters on tall stems. They will bloom from mid spring to early summer. Larkspurs are great for cut or dried flowers, and are often used as a backdrop plant in front of a fence or wall."
