Armeria Formosa

Arneria pseudarmeria 'formosa'
"The Armeria Formosa Pinkball Thrift, `Arneria pseudarmeria formosa,' produces one to two inch round flowers that are in shades of pink, rose and red. This plant is much like the common Sea Thrift, but is bigger and a hardy perennial. This plant will bloom in the spring for about four to eight weeks. In a milder climactic region, they have the ability to bloom year round. The seeds should be planted in the spring, about two to four weeks before the last average frost date, or in late summer/early fall at least two months before the first average fall frost date. This plant is excellent in rock gardens and flower borders, as well as use for making excellent cut flowers."
