"The Hosta August Moon, `Hosta sieboldiana,' has wide, heart shaped leaves, gold in color with slightly rippled margins. This plant produces white to pale lavender flowers, which bloom from July into August. Hostas are not grown only for their flowers. Most people grow Hostas to provide color and life in shady areas of the garden that other plants will not necessarily thrive in. This Hosta grows to a height of two feet and a spread of two to three feet. A great choice for any beginner gardener, this perennial requires little care and can be grown in a variety of situations, including pots and patios."
