"The Sweet Pepper Banana Supreme, `Capsicum annuum Hybrid,' is a much improved sweet banana pepper with almost forty percent greater yields. This early producer or sweet banana peppers produces fruits that measure up to eight inches in length by two inches wide. The peppers have a smooth skin and are very sweet. The fruit will slowly mature to red in color, but maintain its flavor. To get a jump on the season, these plants should be transplanted outside beneath some black plastic to maintain warmer temperatures. Peppers prefer quite a bit of water, but prefer deep watering as opposed to watering often."
