"The Lamium Beacon Silver, `Lamium maculatum,' has beautiful, oval leaves that are gray-green to silvery white and have greenish margins. The short spiked flowers are pale pink in color and look spectacular as a ground cover. With a plant height of six inches and a spread of one to two feet, this plant will bloom from May through July. Used in hanging baskets, mixed containers, trailing over walls or as an edges, this plant must be controlled, as it can become invasive."
