Bigleaf Periwinkle

Vinca major

"The Bigleaf Periwinkle, `Vinca major,' is shrub-like and grows to nearly a foot tall, and has trailing ascending stems up to three feet long. This plant is also known as Greater Periwinkle, Big Periwinkle or Large Periwinkle. Its leaves are dark green, and much larger than the leaves of Vinca minor. Its violet flowers grow solitarily at the end of the stems. This is a very fast growing ornamental plant. In the spring, this vine should be cut back hard to avoid discolored foliage and encourage new growth."

Zumi Crabapple

Zumi Crabapple

The Zumi Crabapple Tree, `Malux x Zumi Calocarpa,' is a semi-dwarf crabapple that may be used as a street tree.  It is most valued for its profuse, spring flowering of fragrant, white blooms and its small, glossy, bright red fruit.  The crabapples will mature in the autumn, and likely persist into December.  It is very effective when planted as a background for other early flowering plants.  It is also commonly grown near fences, in groups as a screen or as a specimen planting in a lawn or patio.

Red Globe Peach Tree

Red Globe Peach Tree

The Red Globe peach features one of the finest flavors even developed.  This very large, round fruit has yellow flesh that is blushed with red, and touts an excellent flavor.  These are some of the most highly desirable commercial peaches, and they have exceptional quality.  The large fruits ripen in June, and the trees are vigorous and highly productive.  The fruits, with their highly blushed red atop a golden background, are some of the most attractive peaches of their season.  The fruits have good quality and are rather firm.

Baby Love Rose

Baby Love Rose

The Rose Baby Love produces abundant, single sunny yellow flowers throughout the summer months.  The multitudes of flowers are grown in clusters above a neat and tidy, self-cleaning shrub.  Its foliage is very healthy, and glossy green in appearance.  Attaining a height of three feet, this shrub rose should be planted deeply to encourage better re-growth in the following spring.
