Boston Ivy

Parthenocissus tricuspidata
"The Boston Ivy, `Parthenocissus tricuspidata,' is a deciduous vine with tendrils. These tendrils have five to eight branches that each end in adhesive-like tips. This vine has the ability to literally cement itself to walls, and therefore will require no support. It will even grow up the sides of trees. The Boston Ivy also makes a great groundcover, and grows in full sunlight to full shade. Also called the Cottage Ivy or Japanese Ivy, this vine is tolerant to salt and can handle almost any condition."
