"The Bergenia Bressingham Ruby is a Blooms of Bressingham plant. Also known as Burgenia Pigsqueak or Heartleaf, this is a very popular groundcover that is great for smothering weeds. This vigorous spreader is perfect for rock gardens or as a border plant. It has paddle shaped leave that turn burgundy in cold weather. The pink flowers bloom in short clusters on stout stems. The plants grow to a height of fourteen inches with a one foot spread. This is a perennial that should not be left out of any garden."
