"The Astilbe Bridal Veil, `Astilbe x arendsii,' will easily fill a garden space with its beautiful white flowers. This spring planted tuber has tall stems that are topped with eight to twelve inch plumes full of tiny flowers. This is the perfect plant for a shady location that needs some color. The glossy, green foliage will nicely contrast its flowers. A moist, well draining site is best for this plant, and it should not be allowed to dry out."
