"The Pom Pom Dahlia Brilliant Eye, `Dahlia,' will produce small, round balls of tightly rolled bright red petals that can reach about two inches in size. These balls of color give this plant its common name of Pom Pom. This spring planted tuberous root will produce masses of these lovely large blooms from July until the first frost. Dahlias are the perfect selection for containers, borders, massings and cut flowers. They will grow best in a well draining, humus rich soil. Dahlias bloom for a very long time and will be able to offer more variety and beauty that almost any other flower."
