Sometimes, the flowers become so dense, the foliage is impossible to see. This low growing ground cover will bloom from spring until fall. The areas with mild winters, this Lobelia will grow and bloom during the winter months. The tubular blooms are ¬ of an inch in size. The seeds should be planted in the spring after the last average frost date or in late summer for warmer climates.
