"The Cosmos Candy Stripe, `Cosmos bipinnatus,' produces lovely, white flowers with rose stripes and markings. Each two to three inch flower has unique markings for a very attractive look. Candy Stripe plants almost seem to grow better when they are neglected. The flowers will emerge about ten weeks after seeding, and will persist until the first fall frost. These low maintenance plants attract hummingbirds and butterflies, and are a great selection for flowerbeds. They also make great cut flowers."
