The 2 to 2 « inch flowers will bloom as soon as six weeks after sowing the seeds. The flowers of Nasturtium are edible and can be added to any salad. This plant performs well in bad soil, but is most comfortable in average garden soils that are not overly fertile. It is commonly used for edging and borders, and can even be grown indoors.
