Cinnamon Basil

Ocimum basilicum
"The Basil Cinnamon, `Ocimum basilicum,' produces very attractive violet stems and veining that complement perfectly the lavender flowers. Cinnamon basil can be used to create a perfect summer tea. The name Cinnamon comes from its light aroma and flavor. In addition to being added to all foods that require basil, this variety is also the perfect candidate for adding to potpourri. The seeds should be planted in the spring, about one or two weeks after the last average frost date. They should be planted in well draining soil with lots of organic matter."
