Salvia sclarca
"The Clary Sage, `Salvia sclarca,' produces fountains of three-foot tall flower stems. This spectacular plant will also release a pleasant garden fragrance from the foliage as well as the flowers. The blooms are tubular, pale lilac in color and one inch long. The two the three foot stems feature very prominent rose red bracts. Clary Sage will bloom from summer into early fall. This sage is used for tea, as well as every other use of sage. The leaves can also be dried to make sachets and potpourri."
