Cumberland Raspberry

Rubus idaeus 'Cumberland'

"The Cumberland Raspberry, `Rubus idaeus,' is a classic everbearing raspberry. Everbearing means that it will produce two crops on each of the biennial canes. The first crop will come in the autumn, and the second will arrive the following spring/summer. It produces blue-black fruits that are large and juicy with very few seeds. The fruits have good freezing qualities. The shrubs should be watered regularly during their growth season to encourage better and healthier growth. They should be planted in full sunlight in any rich, well draining soil."
