Aristolochia durior

"The Dutchman's Pipe, `Aristolochia durior,' is an extremely vigorous vine. Most often grown for its foliage, its large, hear-shaped deciduous leaves make an excellent screen. It is also used to cover buildings and porches. Its flowers are shaped like Meerschaum pipes, but are not very ornamental. They are a favorite food for pipe vine swallowtail butterfly larvae and will also attract birds. This vine should be trained on a trellis or arbor to encourage upright growth."
