"The Flame Amur Maple Tree, `Acer ginnala,' features a green summer color that will be mixed with bright red samaras, or `helicopters,' in mid summer. This is usually a multi-stemmed tree that is most noted for its fiery-red autumn color. These extremely hardy trees are drought tolerant once they are established. Making excellent screens or hedges, they will leaf out early to cast dense shade. This is a vigorous grower that will be able to tolerate extreme temperatures."
