"The Flame Willow, `Salix Willow,' will grow with several stems, like a shrub grows, but can be pruned and trained to grow like a tree. It receives its name from its stems, which turn red in last fall and maintain this color until early spring. This tree is very hardy and responds well to pruning. The will grow very fast and can be planted as privacy screens, where their fall color will be breathtaking. The can also be planted as specimens or in a line along a border."
