"The Goldbar apricot is a very vigorous tree that flowers heavily, but sets a light crop. This greatly increases the size of the individual fruits. The fruits produced are large, and round to oval in shape. The light yellow-orange fruit will produce a reddish blush, which exists primarily on the side that is exposed to the sun. The light orange flesh is very firm, meaty and moderately juicy. The skin is believed to add acidity to the fruit. This is a great fruit for use in the fresh market."
