"The Spirea Goldmound, `Spiraea x Goldmound,' has brilliant light chartreuse-green foliage that will hold its color throughout the season. This plant will provide an excellent accent or contrast plant in any foundation planting or shrub border. The pink flowers will appear in June and July. The eighteen to twenty-four inch plants will maintain their dense, rounded shape with little to no pruning. Spireas are distinguished by the size, bloom color and season of bloom. They all have small leaves that grow on fine, twiggy branches. The shrubs also become very drought tolerant once they are established."
