"The Goldstrike apricot produces a very large and firm fruit. The apricots are round to slightly oval and increase in size when well-thinned. Their skin has a light orange hue and is slightly glossy. The side of the fruit most exposed to the sun is often covered with a reddish blush. The firm, meaty, light orange flesh is moderately juicy. Some of the fruits acidity is associated with the skin. The fruits have an excellent eating quality. Goldstrike apricot trees bloom very heavily, but fruit set is usually moderate to light under natural pollination.
