"The Arborvitae Green Giant, `Thuja plicata,' is a very adaptable tree to wet or dry soils. This giant arborvitae features bright green, fernlike foliage. This tree is very fast growing for an arborvitae and is also very dense. They are typically used exclusively for borders, screens, windbreaks or accent trees. They can be grown as a hedge, and when trimmed to size, make a very dense hedge about six feet tall."
