Incarvillea delavayi

"The Hardy Gloxinia, `Incarvillea delayayi,' will produce beautiful pink flowers. This spring planted herbaceous root is excellent for growing in a container. Its flowers are three inches long, trumpet-shaped and grow in clusters of eight to ten. Spent flowers should be deadheaded to encourage a prolonged bloom time. This plant need protection during the winter, and should be planted in a protected area with a fertile and well draining soil."
