Begonia Spectrum Ann plants, `Begonia x hybrida,' are wonderfully flowering plants that grow well in the garden as well as patio containers. This variety is a cross between the winter flowering and tuberous summer flowering varieties of Begonia. Spectrum Ann Begonias are distinguished by their large, flowers that are double and a light salmon pink in color. More that a half day of sunlight will cause the plants to dry out, as too much shade will cause the plants to become soft and less showy in bloom.
The Calla Golden Chalice, `Zantedeschia,' features broadly shaped green, lightly spotted foliage and large, golden yellow flowers. The flowers will bloom for ten to eleven weeks with a plant height of nearly two feet and a spread of up to sixteen inches. This somewhat deer resistant plant is suitable for container growing, but looks best planted in a perennial garden. This Calla Lily is perfect for adding a splash of color to any garden of landscape.
The Angel Face Rose is a garden variety of rose that has a very well balanced Old Rose scent. An AARS winner in 1969, Angel Face plants are beautiful with their ruffled lavender pink blossoms and beautiful buds. The blooms make magnificent cut flowers. The somewhat short plants only reach a height of two to three feet.
