"The Potentilla Jackman, `Potentilla fruticosa,' is a deciduous shrub with deep green leaves. The green foliage makes the perfect background for its brilliant yellow flowers. The flowers will bloom from midsummer and persist until fall. This compact, upright shrub has one of the longest blooming seasons of all flowering shrubs. These bushy plants prefer full sunlight, and are not particular about soil type. These popular bushes are also very hardy."
