Knock Out Rose

"The Knock Out rose produces deep, almost fluorescent cherry red blooms with five to seven petals each that give off a light tea rose fragrance. Its cycle of bloom and growth will provide for a continuous show of color from spring through late fall. This is a wonderful example of disease resistance at its best. The plants are maintenance free and will thrive in all climates. The flowers grow in clusters of three to fifteen alongside the glossy foliage that is tinged in eggplant purple with a swirl of burgundy. This variety was an AARS winner."

Snowstorm Bacopa

Snowstorm Bacopa

Bacopa Snowstorm, `Sutera hybrids,' is a Proven Selections plant and an instant hit with gardeners.  These plants are incredibly versatile and vigorous.  The growth habit makes it unbeatable for filling in bare spots in the garden and small pots.  Snowstorm plants have large, white flowers and are extra vigorous.  This plant has a bushier and more vigorous upright habit than many other varieties of Sutera.  The soil should be kept moist and well drained, as flowers will drop easily if the plant is not provided enough moisture.  In zones nine through eleven, they can also be used as a perennial.

Royal Fern

Royal Fern

The Royal Fern, `Osmunda regalis,' is a tall, deciduous fern that grows naturally on moist bluffs and ledges along streams, and is sometimes found growing in the water.  The broad fronds feature large, separated leaflets that give this fern an almost pea-family appearance.  Its spores are located in brown, tassel-like, fertile clusters on the tips of the fronds.  This gives the plant the additional common name of flowering fern.  This plant will also grow nicely in shaded borders, woodland gardens and native or wild plant gardens.

Berry Nice Holly

Berry Nice Holly

The Holly Berry Nice, `Ilex v. Nice,' will provide copious amounts of bright red berries that will be enjoyed in both autumn and winter.  This is a relatively new variety that features superior fruit set and berry retention, as well as a greatly improved resistance to mildew.  The berries of this Proven Winners selection can be included in floral arrangements and other winter decorations.  Planting or massing these colorful plants will greatly help to brighten up any winter landscape.
