"The Purple Wintercreeper Euonymus, `Euonymus fortunei Coloratus,' is also known by the common names of Wintercreeper and Wintercreeper Euonymus. This is a dense, woody-stemmed broadleaf evergreen plant and comes in a variety of forms. Primarily used as a trailing groundcover, this plant typically grows to six through nine inches in height and will spread indefinitely by rooting stems. It creates a sprawling, tangles bushy mat. It is also used for container plantings, massing or erosion control."
