Royal Fern

Osmunda regalis

"The Royal Fern, `Osmunda regalis,' is a tall, deciduous fern that grows naturally on moist bluffs and ledges along streams, and is sometimes found growing in the water. The broad fronds feature large, separated leaflets that give this fern an almost pea-family appearance. Its spores are located in brown, tassel-like, fertile clusters on the tips of the fronds. This gives the plant the additional common name of flowering fern. This plant will also grow nicely in shaded borders, woodland gardens and native or wild plant gardens."

Stargazer Oriental Lily

Stargazer Oriental Lily

The Lily 'Stargazer', 'Lilium Oriental Hybrid', a fall planted bulb, is the most popular of all oriental lilies because of it's fragrance, red and white flowers, and long lasting vase life. Oriental hybrid lilies, known as the most flamboyant personalities within the world of lilies, are characterized by their immense flowers, at least 6" across. The elegant flowers, with their gracefully recurved petals, have an intense fragrance and rich colors. Oriental Lilies are very long-lived in the garden and will multiply over the years, if left undisturbed. They attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Orchid Frost Lamium

Orchid Frost Lamium

The Lamium Orchid Frost, `Lamium maculatum,' has beautiful oval shaped foliage that is bluish green in color with silvery edges.  The short, spiked clear pale pink flowers make it a very attractive ground cover.  It has a plant height of six inches and a spread of up to two feet.  The flowers bloom from May to July.  Lamuim should be grown in hanging baskets, mixed containers, trailing over walls or as an edger.  Its spread must be controlled.  This plant looks great among hostas, ferns, bulbs and wildflowers.

Mars Grape

Mars Grape

The Mars Grape (Blue-Purple), `Vitas labrusca Mars,' produces seedless, medium sized grapes that are perfect to serve fresh on the table, as well as in making jams and jellies.  It is very similar in character to the Concord grape.  This is the most disease resistant variety of grape that we carry, and the fruits will ripen in mid to late August.  Grape vines can also be grown as ornamentals or screens in the landscape.
