Perovskia atriplicifolia
"The Russian Sage, `Perovskia atriplicifolia,' is a semi-woody, deciduous shrub that features upright, grayish-white stems and lobed, silvery-gray leaves. The stems and leaves emit a pungent aroma when they are crushed or bruised. Its older stems are woody at their base, and the younger stems are herbaceous and have a square cross section. The foot high spires are small, tubular lavender flowers are produced in late summer and autumn. The flowers will persist for two to three months. This plant grows in a clump and should be planted in full sunlight."
