"The Suffolk Grape (Red), `Vitas labrusca Suffolk,' produces seedless, medium sized grapes. The fruits of this spring planted herbaceous root are grown in large clusters, and have a very tender skin that makes them delicious eaten fresh or cooled down as a dessert. The grapes will ripen a couple weeks earlier than Concord grapes. The plants are very winter hardy, and they can be used for either home or commercial use. Grapevines can be used as ornamental plants, and are also very valuable and shade or screen plants in the landscape."
