"The Verbascum Summer Sorbet, `Verbascum hybridum,' produces masses of magenta purple flowers with a hint of peach and raspberry eyes, which bloom from late spring into early summer and look fantastic in any perennial garden. Also known as Mullein, this wonderful plant has large, glossy green leaves that will add great contrast to the flower color. The plants grow to a height of two feet with a spread of one to two feet. Try Summer Sorbet in rocky sloped for color, or as a border plant in a cottage garden. This Verbascum can tolerate a wide array of soil types, provided that they have ample drainage."
