Sweet Mock Orange

Philadelphus coronarius
"The Sweet Mock Orange, `Philadelphus coronarius,' derives its name from its fragrant white flowers, which resemble the flowers of an orange tree. Some of the varieties of this deciduous shrub will have fragrant-less blooms. The flowers can be single, semi-double or double, and will very in size. The foliage will retain its color in the fall. Most mock orange plants will suffer from occasional tip kill in zone four and often in zone three."
