"The Tidal Wave Silver Petunia, `Petunia x hybrida hedgiflora,' has a very unique growth habit. Its form is based on how closely plants are spaced in the garden. For taller plants, they should be placed close together. When spaced more than one foot apart, they will form a dense, mounded hedge up to two feet in height. When spaced apart, they can grow upwards of two to three feet, similar to a vine. Requiring no pinching or pruning, Tidal Wave petunias are low maintenance and weather tolerant, making them well suited for any landscape. This plant was a Fleuroselect Quality Mark Winner 2003 from the Colorado State University."
