"The Toothwood Fern, `Dryopteris spinulosais,' is a very delightful and lacy plant. The Toothwood fern is also known as the Narrow Buckler Fern. It has true fern foliage that is a rich deep green color. The long triangular fronds, comprising of hundreds of tiny leaflets, spray up and out in whorls. This perennial plant is deciduous and semi-evergreen. It will greatly enhance a border or background with its gracefulness. Easy to grow almost anywhere, this fern has the ability to thrive when other plants fail."
