"The Stock Twist, `Matthiola incana,' produces uniquely colored flowers in shades of apricot and orange. The spicy fragrance will fill your house as a cut flower or the garden as a bedding plant. This is a wonderful cottage garden plant. In addition, it is one of the few outdoor flowering plants that can be brought indoors to bloom. The seeds should be planted in the spring after the last average frost date, or in the fall for zones nine and warmer. When placed in a cool spot, the flowers can bloom in the spring, summer and fall."
