"The Watercress, `Nasturtium officinale,' is perfect for any lover of the texture and flavor of alfalfa or bean sprouts added to their food. Its snappy, clean, peppery taste will add crunch to any sandwich, salad, omelet or potato salad. The best part is, a free running stream or lake is not required to grow this wonderful vegetable. Any moist, somewhat shady location will work just fine. The plants will grow best in locations will less than one half day of sunlight. The sprigs can be clipped off the top three to four inches of the plant once they reach four to six inches in height. The most tender parts of the plant are near the tips."
