"The Hosta Whirlwind, `Hosta,' produces large, upright pointed leaves that are twisted and folded with creamy yellow to white centers and dark green margins. This hosta produces lavender flowers that bloom from July through August, although Hostas are generally planted for the foliage and not the flowers. This Hosta will grow to a height of twenty-four inches with a spread of up to three feet. They will provide bright color in any shady location. This is a low care perennial that is a great selection for any beginning gardener."
