White Flame Phlox

Phlox paniculata 'White Flame'

"The Phlox White Flame, `Phlox paniculata,' produces huge, pristine white flowers over a thick mat of foliage. This new variety has variegated foliage with a pinkish tinge at the tips of the leaves. This ideal groundcover will bloom from April to May. The plants grow to a height of twelve inches with a spread of up to eighteen inches. This should be a definite addition to any perennial garden. Phlox should be planted in full sunlight in a well draining soil. Plant it in rock garden, as a spread over short retaining walls, or in difficult edges of dry streambeds."
