"The Asarum American Ginger, `Asarum canadense,' is a fantastic ground cover that is grown for its foliage. The plants will reach a height of six to eight inches and are extremely heat tolerant. The flowers are reddish to green and will bloom in early spring and persist until almost summer. This plant will work wonders in rock gardens or in a border. This plant looks best when mixed with different colored ground covers such as Ajuga Chocolate Chip."
